Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator (“MBTI”) is a self-report inventory designed to help you to identify your own personality type, your strengths and your preferences.

Eighty nine of the Fortune 100 companies have used the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), according to CPP, the exclusive publisher of the Myers-Briggs test 12 Jun 2017.

Based on the answers to the questions, you are identified as having one of 16 personality types. The goal of the MBTI will allow you to further explore and understand your own personality, including your likes, dislikes, strengths, weaknesses, and compatibility with other people.

Overview of Personality Types

MBTI assessment can also be used to determine the personality type of your team. When used in this way it is a very powerful tool to give you real insight into the strength and preferences of each team member. You will have a better understanding as to why some members of the team work well together, and why some don’t. Once you are aware of this you can be proactive to build a strong productive team.
